Microsoft office 2010 could not verify the license for this product free
I have, in the last hour, got this error message when I restarted my laptop after uninstalling a few programs including Spotify, Norton Security I have Sophos and some image editing software.
Does the license run out after a certain period of time? I have researched this problem on this community and tried the following previously recommended steps. Click on Start, type 'services. Under General tab, Startup type, Automatically. You may repair Office using the link below and check if licensing works fine:. I did need to make the change from Manual to Automatically in Method 1 but the problem remained, I then tried the repair from Method 2 and the problem remains.
There is the option of Method If the above steps fail, run the 'Fix It' tool available for Office suite from the link mentioned below this will remove all the installed components of Office. Once you have uninstalled Office you may use the installation source file and the product key to reinstall Office and verify the status. I have not done this yet as I dont know the product key and Im not sure how to find the Office installation source file.

Each time I open an Office program I produvt the following error: Microsoft Office cannot verify the license for this product.
You should repair the program using Control Panel. When I click okay, I goes into the office program and says Unlicensed Product and the software cannot be used. Then going to Accounts, I click sign in, and using the Office Business Premium credentials sign in, and get another error.
I have also tried re-installing the software 3 times now frer clean installs and still I get the same error, I also get the same error when trying to sign in with a different account.
